Pediatric specialty group latest to join the award winning physician network
Braintree, Mass. (January, 13, 2012)—New England Quality Care Alliance (NEQCA), the community physician network affiliated with Tufts Medical Center, announced today that Allied Pediatrics of Greater Brockton, Inc. has joined its network of physicians.
Allied Pediatrics of Greater Brockton opened in 1997 and has offices in Brockton, East Bridgewater, and Braintree. Their medical staff includes David Alvarez, MD, Anuradha Bhimavarapu, MD, Ellen Chen, MD and Ronald Sunog, MD, all of whom are Board Certified in Pediatrics and have many years of experience treating pediatric patients. They are complemented by nurse practitioners Melissa Clifford, CPNP-PC, Janet Decoursey, CPNP-PC, Karyn Ellis, CPNP-PC and Marianne Glassanos, CPNP-PC, all of whom are also certified in Pediatrics and have extensive clinical experience.
Throughout its more than fifteen years serving young patients, Allied Pediatrics of Greater Brockton has provided children with a full range of care from well-child visits to diagnosis and treatment for more serious illnesses. The practice offers specialized nutritional and mental health counseling by certified personnel and has a strong focus on the management of asthma, school-related issues, weight concerns, and developmental problems.
For the convenience of patients and their families, all Allied Pediatrics offices are equipped to run basic lab tests as well as specialized hearing, vision, and asthma testing. Preventive and urgent care is available seven days a week year round, and extended evening hours are offered Monday through Friday. Early walk-in urgent care is also available in the Brockton office.
