Applications for NEQCA Leadership Academy Due December 12, 2019

November 20, 2019

Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 NEQCA Leadership Academy Program. Interested candidates must complete this application by Thursday, December 12, 2019.

The NEQCA Leadership Academy is a “best-in-class” program to strengthen the leadership capabilities of current and emerging leaders. Program facilitator Tanya Chermak, MBA, has helped hundreds of physician and administrative leaders apply what they’ve learned to achieve organizational, professional and personal goals. More than 60 people in the NEQCA Network have successfully participated in the program since its inception in 2018.

The 2020 cohort will attend a series of six, one-day classes in Leadership, Negotiations, Financial Stewardship, Performance Management, Resilience and Change Management – all taught by international experts in their fields – over a six month period.  Classes are scheduled on six Saturdays at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods, beginning in January 2020 (see curriculum and schedule below). Participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership.  In addition, qualified clinicians may be eligible to receive up to 29.5 CMEs.

NEQCA-affiliated clinicians, administrators, and practice staff – as well as NEQCA Central staff – may apply to participate in the program. The deadline for applications is Thursday, December 12, 2019. Selection decisions will be communicated by Friday, December 20.

While participation in the NEQCA Leadership Academy represents a significant investment, there is no cost to participants, their practices or Local Care Organizations to attend or to earn CME credits. The program is funded by NEQCA as part of its commitment to strengthen the leadership capabilities across the Network.
